For Warhammer 40K, It’s time for a rescue! Up on the hill surrounded by craters and rocks, behind enemy lines, stands the opportunity for you to save those from your troop.
MISSION: In this time of war, sometimes your teammates get caught by the enemy and it’s your time to get them out of danger.
One player is the attacker and the other player is the defender. On a roll of 2d6, it will determine how many comrades you must save.
You need to put together a patrol detachment consisting of 1 HQ, 1-2 troops and 1 elite. No vehicles and no flyers can be involved in this cohort rescue mission. The attacker can bring in a unit or model in reserve. Roll for each unit at the end of your second movement phase and after the movement phases thereafter. On a roll of 3+, the unit being rolled for arrives from reserve. They must be set up no closer than 12” from the base of the hill.
BATTLEFIELD: The defender’s deployment zone will be on top of the hill. The attacker will be 12” from the edge of the battlefield.
BATTLE LENGTH: 5 rounds unless you rescue all your comrades before then
VICTORY: If unit survives rescue, the attacker wins.
